Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather, analyze, and validate business, technical, and data requirements for enterprise analytics projects.
- Translate high-level business requirements into clear technical specifications, functional requirements, and scalable data models for development and implementation teams.
- Lead Program Increment planning sessions with stakeholders to identify short-term priorities while ensuring alignment with long-term strategic business goals.
- Ensure data quality, governance, accuracy, and consistency by supporting metadata management, validation processes, and data approval workflows.
- Work closely with data engineers and analytics teams to guide implementation activities, resolve production issues, and improve reporting and analytics solutions.
- Partner with enterprise architects to design and maintain scalable data models aligned with organizational data architecture and governance standards.
- Utilize analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI to create dashboards, prototypes, reports, and business intelligence solutions that support decision-making.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and enterprise data accessibility.
- Support cross-functional collaboration by mapping team dependencies, coordinating analytics initiatives, and ensuring smooth project execution.
- Participate in troubleshooting, production support, and issue resolution activities related to analytics systems, enterprise data platforms, and reporting environments.
- Work with cloud-based analytics technologies and enterprise systems to support digital transformation and data-driven innovation initiatives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, data models, workflows, governance standards, and reporting processes for project transparency and compliance.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
- Applicants should have 5–7+ years of relevant professional experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Analytics Consultant.
- Strong experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and analytics solutions is essential for this role.
- Hands-on expertise in analytics and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Analysis Services, and Python is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with data engineering technologies including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS G2), and enterprise data platforms is beneficial.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate business processes and design effective data-driven solutions.
- Understanding of system engineering principles, object-oriented design, information security standards, and enterprise architecture practices is important.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP ECC, CRM platforms, Hybris, Hyperion, or Enterprise Planning Management tools will provide an added advantage.
- Good understanding of finance processes including General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and enterprise reporting concepts is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for stakeholder management, requirement discussions, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Expected Salary
The expected salary for the Rockwell Automation Data Analyst role in Pune generally ranges between ₹12 LPA to ₹22 LPA depending on professional experience, technical expertise, domain knowledge, and proficiency in analytics platforms and cloud technologies.
