Roles & Responsibilities

1. Support product discovery initiatives by conducting user research, gathering customer feedback, and analyzing data to identify opportunities for product improvement.
2. Collaborate with senior product managers to define, prioritize, and refine product roadmap initiatives that align with customer needs and business objectives.
3. Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver scalable, high-quality product features within agile Scrum development environments.
4. Assist in defining product requirements, writing detailed user stories, and creating acceptance criteria that guide successful feature implementation.
5. Contribute to the development of AI-powered product capabilities, including intelligent recommendations, automation features, and advanced user experiences.
6. Analyze product performance metrics and customer behavior data to evaluate feature effectiveness and identify areas for optimization.
7. Participate in prioritization discussions by balancing customer feedback, technical considerations, and business impact when making product decisions.
8. Investigate customer-reported issues and collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and user trust.
9. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, designers, developers, and business teams to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
10. Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.
11. Support product launches and feature rollouts by coordinating with relevant teams and ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
12. Continuously develop product management skills through mentorship, customer engagement, data analysis, and collaboration with experienced professionals.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA candidates may receive additional consideration.
2. Zero to two years of experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, customer-facing roles, software development, or related disciplines.
3. Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand user challenges and translate customer needs into valuable product solutions.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and making evidence-based recommendations.
5. Ability to transform ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable product requirements and development priorities.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively and influence stakeholders.
7. Understanding of software development fundamentals and experience collaborating with engineering teams in agile environments.
8. Familiarity with product management concepts such as roadmaps, user stories, backlog prioritization, acceptance criteria, and product lifecycle management.
9. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
10. Interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and AI-powered product innovation initiatives.
11. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and execution with a focus on delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
12. Continuous learning mindset with enthusiasm for exploring emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in product management.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for an Associate Product Manager at Cornerstone in Pune typically ranges between ₹8 LPA and ₹16 LPA, depending on educational background, product management exposure, analytical skills, and interview performance.
