Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize high-performance software solutions for Qualcomm's mobile chipsets, embedded platforms, and next-generation intelligent devices while maintaining industry-leading quality standards.
• Develop embedded software, firmware, and device drivers for Android, Linux, Windows, and other operating systems supporting Qualcomm's advanced hardware platforms.
• Implement object-oriented software solutions using C and C++ while following software engineering best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization techniques.
• Contribute to multimedia technologies including audio processing, video codecs, image processing, camera software, and imaging frameworks for mobile and embedded devices.
• Develop and enhance wireless communication software supporting technologies such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, modem software, and advanced networking protocols.
• Work on Linux kernel development, Board Support Packages (BSP), device drivers, system-level programming, and embedded operating system components for Qualcomm platforms.
• Participate in the design, implementation, testing, debugging, and maintenance of communication protocol stacks including TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, SIP, and related networking technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, software architects, validation teams, and product managers to deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative software solutions.
• Analyze software defects, identify root causes, optimize system performance, and implement effective solutions that improve product stability and efficiency.
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and continuous learning initiatives while contributing innovative ideas to enhance Qualcomm's products and technologies.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Systems, Communication Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
• Strong programming knowledge in C and C++, including object-oriented programming concepts, memory management, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Good understanding of Operating System concepts, process management, multithreading, synchronization, memory management, scheduling, and system programming fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms with the ability to solve complex computational and optimization problems efficiently.
• Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, Android, Windows, embedded systems, Linux kernel concepts, Board Support Packages (BSP), and device driver development will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of wireless communication technologies such as LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, UMTS, CDMA, or related networking standards.
• Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP, UDP, IP, RTP, SIP, and communication stack implementation concepts is highly desirable.
• Exposure to multimedia technologies such as audio processing, video codecs, image processing, computer vision, or camera software through academic projects or internships will strengthen your profile.
• Strong analytical thinking, debugging capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in collaborative engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a willingness to learn emerging technologies, adapt quickly, and contribute to highly innovative software engineering projects.
