Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in software development, application maintenance, testing, deployment, and support activities while contributing to real-world client projects under the guidance of experienced technical teams.
• Learn and apply software engineering principles, programming concepts, development methodologies, and enterprise technology solutions while continuously enhancing technical competencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, software developers, quality assurance teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver assigned project tasks within defined timelines.
• Analyze technical requirements, understand business processes, and assist in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet client expectations.
• Perform software testing, defect identification, debugging, issue resolution, and quality assurance activities to ensure applications meet organizational standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, project reports, user guides, and knowledge-sharing materials while maintaining accurate records of assigned development and support activities.
• Participate in technical training programs, certification initiatives, workshops, and M.Tech coursework to continuously develop industry-relevant knowledge and practical expertise.
• Follow organizational policies, coding standards, security guidelines, compliance requirements, and software development best practices throughout project execution.
• Communicate effectively with mentors, project teams, and business stakeholders while demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a collaborative approach to work.
• Balance academic responsibilities and professional assignments efficiently by managing time effectively, meeting project deadlines, and maintaining high standards of performance throughout the WILP program.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from a recognized full-time institution approved by the Central or State Government of India.
• Eligible B.Sc. specializations include Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics, and Physics.
• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA of 6.0 or above in their graduation as per their university's grading system.
• Applicants must have passed both 10th and 12th standards. Open schooling or distance education is permitted only for 10th and 12th qualifications.
• Core Mathematics must have been studied as a subject during graduation. Business Mathematics and Applied Mathematics are not considered eligible under the program requirements.
• A maximum educational gap of three years is permitted between the completion of Class 10 and the commencement of graduation. No academic gaps are allowed during the graduation period, and the degree must be completed within the prescribed three-year duration.
• Candidates may have one active backlog at the time of the online assessment, provided it is successfully cleared before the completion of the final semester.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of registration and should be Indian citizens or hold valid OCI/PIO status. Candidates from Nepal and Bhutan are required to provide valid citizenship documentation.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn new technologies while adapting to dynamic business environments.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages, computer fundamentals, software development concepts, databases, networking, operating systems, or web technologies will be beneficial, although prior work experience is not mandatory.

Expected Salary

Selected candidates will join Wipro as Scholar Trainees and receive a structured stipend throughout the Work Integrated Learning Program. The monthly stipend is ₹15,000 plus ₹488 ESI during the first year, ₹17,000 plus ₹553 ESI in the second year, ₹19,000 plus ₹618 ESI in the third year, and ₹23,000 per month during the fourth year. In addition, candidates receive a ₹75,000 joining bonus along with their first month's stipend. Wipro also sponsors the employee's M.Tech education, making the program an excellent opportunity for graduates to earn, learn, and build a long-term career simultaneously.
