As part of Deloitte's Advertising, Marketing & Commerce practice, you will contribute to developing technology-driven solutions that support personalized customer experiences, digital commerce platforms, marketing automation systems, and customer engagement applications. You will participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Python-based backend frameworks and modern frontend technologies to meet business and client requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, designers, architects, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js for enhanced user experiences.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based communication services to enable efficient data exchange and real-time application functionality.

• Design, optimize, and manage database structures while ensuring data integrity, performance, and security across multiple application environments.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and troubleshooting activities to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud while ensuring reliability and scalability.

• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and streamlined deployment processes.

• Follow Agile development methodologies by actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and project discussions.

• Continuously improve application performance, security, and maintainability through best coding practices and modern development standards.

• Document technical specifications, workflows, and development processes to support knowledge sharing and project continuity.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative approaches and improve development efficiency.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.

• Possess 2–3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development, working on enterprise applications and modern web technologies.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming with practical experience using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask for backend development.

• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks including React, Angular, or Vue.js for creating dynamic web applications.

• Solid understanding of RESTful API development, API integration techniques, and real-time communication protocols such as WebSockets.

• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and database optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git, including branching strategies, code collaboration, and repository management practices.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for deployment and infrastructure management.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail to effectively address technical challenges and optimize solutions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse and distributed teams.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, and software automation tools will be considered an added advantage.

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments with exposure to sprint-based development and iterative delivery models is preferred.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for a Software Engineer I (Full Stack Engineering - Python) at Deloitte in India typically ranges between ₹7 LPA and ₹12 LPA, depending on factors such as technical expertise, project experience, location, and interview performance.
