As a Software Engineering LMTS, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, quality engineers, DevOps specialists, and AI researchers to develop highly scalable software solutions. You will participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including system design, architecture planning, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support. Working on Salesforce's AI-driven ecosystem, including Agentforce and cloud-based platforms, you will help build enterprise-grade applications that prioritize security, reliability, performance, and customer success. Your technical expertise will contribute to designing innovative features, optimizing system performance, improving software quality, and driving engineering excellence across multiple business domains.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain highly scalable enterprise software applications that deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance experiences for Salesforce customers worldwide.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative software solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Participate in system architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering planning to build scalable, maintainable, and resilient cloud-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code while following software engineering best practices, coding standards, and secure development principles.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis to ensure software quality, stability, and production readiness.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, availability, and security by identifying bottlenecks, implementing improvements, and adopting modern engineering practices.
• Contribute to AI-powered product development by integrating intelligent features, automation capabilities, and cloud technologies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers, participate in technical knowledge sharing sessions, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering excellence across development teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams to support continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), production monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, software development methodologies, cloud platforms, and AI innovations to recommend improvements that drive product innovation and long-term technical success.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
• Proven professional experience in software engineering with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, Go, or similar object-oriented programming languages, with a solid understanding of software development principles.
• Experience working with cloud computing platforms, distributed systems, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, enterprise application development, and scalable software design.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, multithreading, system architecture, databases, and software engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control systems, and continuous delivery.
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, cloud-native application development, automation technologies, or machine learning concepts is considered an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, debugging skills, and the capability to solve complex technical challenges in high-scale production environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global engineering teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, ownership mindset, mentoring abilities, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced technology environment.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for a Software Engineering LMTS at Salesforce India typically ranges between ₹35 LPA and ₹65 LPA, depending on professional experience, technical expertise, interview performance, and overall engineering capabilities.
