Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and enterprise services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs that support business applications, client integrations, and enterprise-level software solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, frontend developers, testers, and project teams to understand requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following coding standards, software development best practices, and organizational guidelines.
- Develop and optimize backend logic, business workflows, and database interactions to improve application performance and scalability.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues and maintain system reliability.
- Work with SQL databases to design queries, manage data operations, and ensure data consistency across applications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning sessions, and software design activities within Agile development environments.
- Assist in implementing microservices-based architectures that support modular, scalable, and distributed enterprise applications.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation activities to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation including API specifications, system architecture details, and development workflows.
- Continuously learn emerging technologies, backend development trends, and enterprise software engineering practices to enhance productivity and innovation.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented programming concepts including inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, and encapsulation.
- Basic hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework and backend application development using Java technologies.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and understanding of service-based application design principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development, HTTP methods, request-response handling, and API integration practices.
- Understanding of SQL databases, query writing, relational database concepts, and backend data management processes.
- Basic exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and collaborative development practices.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the capability to troubleshoot backend application issues effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project discussions.
- Understanding of banking and financial services applications or enterprise software systems will be considered an added advantage.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, development tools, and integrated development environments (IDEs) is desirable.
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies, frameworks, and backend engineering practices in a fast-paced development environment.
