As part of Agoda's global Engineering team, you will contribute to building highly scalable applications that power millions of travel searches, bookings, payments, and customer interactions every day. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about software development, backend engineering, full-stack development, and cloud technologies. Working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise-grade systems while collaborating with experienced engineers on products that directly impact users across the globe.
As a Software Developer, you will work within Agile teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern frontend and backend technologies. Depending on project requirements, you may build user interfaces with React, Redux, and TypeScript while developing backend services using C#, Scala, or Kotlin. The role also involves debugging applications, participating in code reviews, implementing real-time monitoring, analyzing production systems, and using A/B testing to improve product performance. Engineers will have opportunities to work with Hadoop, Grafana, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes while strengthening their expertise in scalable software architecture and modern engineering practices.
Joining Agoda means becoming part of one of the world's leading travel technology companies, where innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning are deeply embedded in the engineering culture. Employees are encouraged to take ownership of projects, collaborate across global teams, and solve challenging technical problems at scale. This role provides valuable exposure to distributed systems, cloud-native application development, software architecture, DevOps practices, and data-driven product engineering. Whether your long-term career goal is to become a Backend Developer, Full Stack Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Software Architect, this position serves as an excellent foundation for building a successful software engineering career in a globally recognized technology organization.
