As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for converting UI/UX designs, Figma prototypes, and wireframes into reusable React components while ensuring responsive layouts across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. You will participate in developing interactive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.js while integrating frontend components with backend RESTful APIs or GraphQL services. The role involves optimizing application performance, debugging frontend issues, maintaining clean and reusable code, and implementing modern frontend development best practices. Working closely with senior developers and product teams, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in component-based architecture, state management, frontend optimization, API integration, and collaborative software engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, modern, and interactive web applications using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring seamless functionality across multiple browsers and devices.
- Convert wireframes, Figma designs, and UI/UX prototypes into reusable, scalable, and maintainable React components while preserving design accuracy and usability standards.
- Build new frontend features and enhance existing web applications by implementing clean, efficient, and well-structured code following software engineering best practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, ensuring smooth communication between user interfaces and backend systems.
- Assist in managing application state using React Hooks, Context API, Redux, or other modern state management techniques to build scalable frontend architectures.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend bugs while optimizing application performance, loading speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and collaborative code reviews.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within project timelines.
- Write clean, reusable, modular, and well-documented code while maintaining coding standards, version control practices, and frontend development guidelines.
- Continuously explore emerging frontend technologies, JavaScript frameworks, development tools, and industry best practices to enhance technical expertise and contribute innovative ideas to the engineering team.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), responsive web design principles, and modern frontend development practices.
- Good knowledge of React.js, component-based architecture, JSX, React Hooks, and reusable UI development concepts is essential.
- Basic understanding of state management techniques using Context API, Redux, or similar frontend libraries will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs, GraphQL, asynchronous programming, JSON data handling, and frontend-backend integration concepts.
- Understanding of responsive layouts, browser compatibility, web accessibility standards, performance optimization, and cross-browser testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git, collaborative development workflows, debugging tools, package managers, and frontend build processes.
- Exposure to Angular or other JavaScript frameworks is considered an added advantage and may provide opportunities to work on multiple frontend technologies.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for developing intuitive user interfaces are highly desirable.
