Job Description

Dover Corporation is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer – I to join its growing technology team in Bengaluru. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting critical eQMS (Electronic Quality Management System) and EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) applications such as ETQ and Enablon. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user issues, service requests, and technical queries related to ETQ, Enablon, and other enterprise applications.
  • Monitor, prioritize, and manage incidents effectively to ensure timely resolution while adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting and issue diagnosis to identify root causes and provide quick resolutions for common application-related problems.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to architects, developers, or advanced support teams while ensuring proper communication and follow-up.
  • Assist with system configuration changes, application updates, and enhancement activities under the guidance of senior technical experts.
  • Support data upload, data correction, validation, and integrity checks to maintain high-quality and accurate business information.
  • Conduct smoke testing and basic system validation activities after deployments, upgrades, or bug fixes to ensure system stability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, technical procedures, and support activities within ticketing platforms.
  • Track project deliverables, support tasks, and operational milestones while ensuring transparency and accountability across teams.
  • Generate operational reports and assist with data reconciliation activities to support compliance, quality, and business reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to improve application performance and user experience.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and support automation efforts that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workload.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in application support, software support, IT operations, or enterprise system management roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, for reporting and documentation purposes.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise application architecture, databases, user interfaces, workflows, and business rules.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
  • Knowledge of IT service management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing and incident management platforms.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications such as ETQ, Enablon, quality management systems, or EHS platforms is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of data validation, data migration, and system testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, process automation, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts will be considered an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills for working with global teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
