Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications by writing clean, efficient, and reusable code that aligns with technical specifications and business requirements.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable software solutions while ensuring optimal application performance, maintainability, and long-term reliability.
• Participate in every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release maintenance.
• Debug software issues, identify root causes, implement effective fixes, and continuously improve application stability through proactive problem-solving and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, QA Engineers, Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and DevOps professionals to deliver high-quality software within project timelines.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews and implement unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance practices to maintain coding standards and application reliability.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, development guides, production documentation, and deployment records to support ongoing software maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Work within Agile Scrum teams by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and collaborative development activities.
• Support software deployments, monitor production environments, investigate operational issues, and contribute to continuous system enhancements and maintenance activities.
• Stay informed about emerging software development technologies, frameworks, programming languages, and industry best practices while applying innovative ideas to improve products and engineering processes.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• 0–3 years of experience in software development, including internships, academic projects, or professional experience in application development.
• Strong programming knowledge in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Node.js, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Scrum methodologies, version control systems like Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases, RESTful APIs, web application development, debugging techniques, and software testing concepts will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and deliver reliable software solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, quality assurance, and business teams.
• Professional certifications such as Google Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE), AWS Certified Developer, or equivalent cloud certifications will be considered an added advantage.
• A continuous learning mindset with enthusiasm for exploring cloud computing, DevOps, automation, software architecture, and modern development technologies to support long-term career growth.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for the Software Developer role at Adani Group in Ahmedabad typically ranges between ₹6 LPA and ₹10 LPA for candidates with 0–3 years of experience. The final compensation depends on educational qualifications, technical expertise, programming proficiency, internship experience, certifications, and interview performance.
