Roles & Responsibilities
- Participate in Revature's paid software engineering training program to develop industry-relevant programming, software development, and problem-solving skills.
- Learn modern programming languages, frameworks, software development tools, and enterprise technologies through structured technical training and practical assignments.
- Develop software applications and complete real-world coding projects that simulate enterprise software development environments and business scenarios.
- Collaborate with instructors, mentors, and fellow trainees to solve technical challenges, share knowledge, and strengthen software engineering skills.
- Apply software development principles, coding standards, and best practices while building reliable, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.
- Participate in application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews to improve software quality and technical understanding.
- Continuously enhance programming knowledge by learning emerging technologies, development methodologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise engineering concepts.
- Complete technical assessments, training milestones, and certification requirements while demonstrating continuous progress throughout the learning program.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or any related discipline from a recognized institution.
- No prior professional software development experience is required. Fresh graduates and career changers with a passion for technology are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in learning programming, software engineering concepts, and modern technology stacks through structured training and practical experience.
- Basic understanding of programming fundamentals, logical reasoning, algorithms, or academic coding experience will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the willingness to continuously learn new programming languages and software technologies.

Expected Salary
The expected salary for the Entry Level Software Engineer role at Revature generally ranges between USD $50,000 and $70,000 per year after successful completion of the training program and placement with a corporate client. Compensation varies based on project location, client organization, technical specialization, and assignment.
