Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for enterprise applications and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across business functions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and end users to identify, diagnose, and resolve application-related issues efficiently.
  • Monitor application performance, system health, and service availability to maintain high uptime and reliability.
  • Coordinate software patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Work with product teams to evaluate new technologies and recommend enhancements to existing applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and suggest application customizations, improvements, or alternative solutions.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, technical specifications, user guides, and support procedures.
  • Assist in designing and supporting cloud-based infrastructure and self-service technology platforms.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and clients to ensure service excellence.
  • Track project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in troubleshooting complex incidents and support root cause analysis activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, automation, and service quality.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
  • 0–2 years of experience in application support, software engineering, IT operations, or related technical roles.
  • Good understanding of SQL databases, database design concepts, reporting tools, and query optimization techniques.
  • Working knowledge of SQL query language with the ability to retrieve, analyze, and manipulate data effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex application issues.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software environments, system integrations, and application lifecycle management processes.
  • Understanding of Linux operating systems, server environments, and infrastructure concepts will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi and vCenter is desirable for infrastructure-related support activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality support standards.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, flexible work schedules, and occasional weekend support when required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving business and technology requirements.
