Custom Description
Join Wolters Kluwer as a Senior Enterprise Software Engineer driving the strategic evolution toward software-driven cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps automation, and enterprise platform engineering. In this high-impact role, you will design, build, and maintain cloud architectures using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), eliminating manual workflows and delivering scalable capabilities across multi-cloud environments spanning Microsoft Azure and AWS.
You will collaborate closely with system architects, cloud operations specialists, and application engineering squads to design resilient CI/CD pipelines, integrate proactive security gates, and harness modern AI developer tooling. Your engineering contributions will directly optimize deployment velocity, enhance system availability, and power critical compliance and information workflows relied upon by professionals globally.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS leveraging Terraform and reusable Infrastructure as Code modules.
• Build, maintain, and optimize enterprise continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
• Automate operational and provisioning workflows to replace manual infrastructure activities, adhering strictly to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Integrate DevSecOps controls into delivery toolchains, including automated vulnerability scanning, secrets management, dependency auditing, and secure coding practices.
• Leverage modern generative AI engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and M365 Copilot to accelerate IaC scripting, improve test coverage, and automate documentation.
• Support observability and monitoring frameworks across cloud workloads, instrumenting distributed telemetry, centralized logging, and proactive alert mechanisms.
• Conduct thorough incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis (RCA) on production platform services, creating automated remediation routines.
• Partner with security, compliance, and cloud governance teams to enforce policy guardrails, cost governance, and architecture hardening standards.
• Develop custom automation utilities, event-driven integrations, and management scripts using Python and cloud SDKs to streamline platform operations.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior cloud engineers and participate in on-call service delivery rotations to sustain high system reliability.
Requirements & Eligibility:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field of study.
• 5–7 years of hands-on professional experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure architecture, or enterprise DevSecOps disciplines.
• Extensive production experience writing modular, scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing HashiCorp Terraform.
• Proven proficiency designing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Strong practical experience provisioning and managing infrastructure services across enterprise cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services).
• Solid programming and automation scripting capabilities in Python, with a strong understanding of object-oriented design and cloud SDKs.
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes orchestration alongside cloud-native microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools, secret management vaults, and enterprise compliance frameworks in cloud-native pipelines.
• Practical familiarity with AI-assisted developer productivity tools (GitHub Copilot) and modern prompt engineering workflows.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proven aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
Expected Salary:
The estimated compensation bracket for a Senior Enterprise Software Engineer at Wolters Kluwer in Pune typically ranges between ₹18,00,000 and ₹30,00,000 per annum, benchmarked against verified compensation reports from Glassdoor and AmbitionBox. Total compensation packages also feature annual performance bonuses, comprehensive family medical insurance, and flexible work arrangements.
