We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Testing Engineer Intern to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications through manual and automated testing methods. This role involves collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and validate functionality.

Responsibilities
Learn and assist in preparing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Execute manual and basic automated tests to identify bugs and issues.
Work closely with the development team to understand features and functionalities.
Report defects clearly with proper documentation and follow up on issue resolution.
Participate in daily stand-ups, reviews, and sprint meetings.
Perform regression testing and ensure software compliance with design specifications.
Maintain documentation of test processes and results and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Good analytical, logical thinking skills, and communication skills.
Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.) is a plus.
Basic understanding of programming languages (Java, Python, or similar) is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
