Deloitte is hiring a Software Engineer I - Power Apps in Hyderabad to support its Global Audit & Assurance Quality, Risk & Regulatory team. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop Power Apps Solutions: Support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of Microsoft Power Apps solutions, including canvas applications, model-driven apps, and SharePoint-based forms.
2. Build Workflow Automation: Develop and support Power Automate workflows that automate repetitive business processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure consistent movement of information between applications and data sources.
3. Manage SharePoint Solutions: Work with SharePoint Online lists, libraries, sites, permissions, and data structures while helping maintain reliable and organized enterprise information management solutions.
4. Support Application Integration: Assist with integrating Power Platform applications with SharePoint and other data management components, APIs, and enterprise services to create connected business solutions.
5. Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Investigate application and workflow problems, identify potential causes, resolve issues within defined procedures, and escalate complex technical challenges to senior team members when required.
6. Perform Application Testing: Prepare test cases, execute functional testing, document results, track defects, support user acceptance testing, and help verify that applications perform according to business requirements.
7. Optimize Application Performance: Assist with identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing improvements across Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, SharePoint solutions, and related application components.
8. Gather Business Requirements: Work with stakeholders and senior team members to understand requirements, document business processes, and translate functional needs into practical application and workflow solutions.
9. Maintain Technical Documentation: Prepare and update application designs, workflow documentation, testing procedures, user instructions, technical guidance, process changes, and other relevant project documentation.
10. Support Data Management: Assist with data management activities involving SharePoint and Power Platform solutions while maintaining appropriate data structures, relationships, permissions, and information-handling practices.
11. Provide User Support: Help users understand applications and automated processes, troubleshoot functional issues, and provide timely assistance while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
12. Follow Development Standards: Work according to software development lifecycle and testing lifecycle practices while collaborating with senior analysts and team members to deliver reliable enterprise technology solutions.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a Bachelor of Technology, Master of Science in Software Sciences or Information Systems, Master of Computer Applications, or an equivalent technical qualification relevant to software development.
2. SharePoint Online Experience: Candidates should have approximately 1–3 years of experience working with SharePoint Online, including familiarity with sites, lists, libraries, permissions, data management, and enterprise collaboration solutions.
3. Power Apps Development: Practical experience developing or supporting Microsoft Power Apps solutions is required, including exposure to canvas apps, model-driven applications, SharePoint forms, or similar Power Platform implementations.
4. Power Automate Knowledge: Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience with Power Automate, particularly in creating, supporting, or troubleshooting workflows used to automate business processes.
5. SharePoint Data Management: A strong understanding of SharePoint Online lists, libraries, sites, permissions, and data-management concepts is important for building secure and maintainable applications.
6. SDLC & STLC Knowledge: Candidates should understand the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle, including development, testing, defect management, documentation, and deployment-related activities.
7. Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or jQuery is preferred and can help candidates customize interfaces and understand web-based application behavior.
8. API & Integration Skills: Exposure to Application Programming Interface services is advantageous, particularly for integrating Power Platform applications with external applications, services, and enterprise data sources.
9. Development & Version Control: Experience with SharePoint Framework, JavaScript, React, Git, or other version-control systems is preferred and can strengthen the candidate’s ability to contribute to more advanced enterprise solutions.
