FIS is hiring Information Security Analysts to join its Risk & Compliance team in Gurugram. As an Information Security Analyst, you will work with the System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting team responsible for evaluating internal controls, conducting assurance activities, and supporting security audits across business units and technology environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, auditors, technology specialists, and business stakeholders to assess security controls, monitor compliance, and strengthen the organization's security posture. The role provides practical exposure to IT General Controls (ITGC), cloud-based audit platforms, governance frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and enterprise infrastructure. You will also develop strong communication, stakeholder management, project coordination, and analytical skills while supporting critical information security initiatives within a global financial services organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support information security assurance activities by assisting with internal control assessments, compliance reviews, and security audit processes across business units and enterprise technology environments.
  • Develop professional reports, presentations, and communication materials for senior leadership and executive stakeholders, ensuring technical information is presented in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including information security, infrastructure, compliance, audit, and business operations to strengthen enterprise security controls and governance practices.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing security-related projects while ensuring deliverables are completed within established timelines and quality standards.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of System and Organization Controls (SOC), assurance frameworks, IT General Controls (ITGC), and testing methodologies used within financial services organizations.
  • Utilize cloud-based audit management tools and security platforms to perform business-as-usual activities, document findings, and support audit execution efficiently.
  • Analyze enterprise infrastructure, business processes, and technology operations to identify potential security risks, control gaps, and compliance improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in internal control testing, evidence collection, documentation reviews, and validation activities to support regulatory and organizational compliance requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders by providing security guidance, responding to audit requests, and facilitating effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
  • Monitor assigned security tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure adherence to established information security policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to strengthen audit processes, enhance operational efficiency, and improve information security practices.
  • Stay updated with evolving cybersecurity trends, compliance standards, cloud security technologies, and financial industry regulations to support ongoing professional development.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline from a recognized university.
  • Zero to one year of experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT audit, risk management, compliance, or related technical fields is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), information security principles, governance frameworks, and enterprise security practices.
  • Good knowledge of information security concepts including confidentiality, integrity, availability, access management, risk assessment, and security controls.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and communicate effectively with technical teams and senior leadership.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail while evaluating security controls and compliance requirements.
  • Basic understanding of project management concepts and the ability to coordinate multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, enterprise infrastructure, audit tools, compliance platforms, or cybersecurity frameworks will be considered an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions and technology teams.
  • Self-motivated learning attitude with a willingness to continuously develop technical expertise in cybersecurity, governance, risk management, compliance, cloud security, and financial technology.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for an Information Security Analyst at FIS India generally ranges between ₹5.5 LPA and ₹8.5 LPA, depending on educational background, technical knowledge, relevant internships, certifications, and interview performance.
