Job Description

In this role, you will manually review, classify, annotate, and label various forms of data including text, images, audio recordings, videos, and other digital content according to predefined quality standards and annotation guidelines. Accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are essential, as your work directly impacts the performance of machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence systems. You will also assist in collecting non-personal datasets, validating annotations, maintaining documentation, and supporting quality assurance activities. The role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with rotational shifts.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Perform manual data annotation and labeling tasks across text, images, audio, videos, and other multimedia content according to project guidelines and quality standards.
2. Review and validate datasets to ensure annotation accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with established operational procedures.
3. Analyze complex digital content and accurately identify relevant information that supports machine learning model training and AI development.
4. Maintain high productivity while handling repetitive tasks without compromising attention to detail or overall data quality.
5. Assist in collecting and organizing non-personal datasets such as images, videos, audio clips, receipts, books, buildings, roads, vehicles, and other required content for AI model development.
6. Collaborate with quality assurance teams and project supervisors to resolve annotation discrepancies and continuously improve data accuracy.
7. Follow detailed annotation instructions, project documentation, and operational workflows while ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
8. Utilize annotation platforms, productivity tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace applications to manage datasets and reporting activities.
9. Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding project requirements, quality issues, and operational updates.
10. Identify challenges during annotation activities and recommend process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and data reliability.
11. Work comfortably in rotational shifts within a 24×7 operational environment while maintaining productivity and meeting project deadlines.
12. Continuously enhance knowledge of AI, machine learning, data processing, and annotation technologies through ongoing learning and training programs.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with strong academic performance and a willingness to learn emerging technologies.
2. Basic computer proficiency with experience using laptops, desktops, Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, and internet-based tools.
3. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately while maintaining consistent data quality standards.
4. Strong reading, writing, and listening skills with the ability to understand instructions and describe visual or audio content using proper grammar and vocabulary.
5. Good verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members, supervisors, and project stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the capability to identify annotation errors and resolve data quality issues.
7. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets.
8. Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Processing, Research Operations, and digital technologies will be highly beneficial.
9. Adaptability to work in rotational shifts, including day and night schedules, within a 24/7 operational environment.
10. Positive attitude, willingness to learn new annotation tools, ability to work under supervision, and commitment to continuous professional development.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for the Associate Analyst role at GlobalLogic generally ranges between ₹3.5 LPA and ₹5.5 LPA, depending on educational background, communication skills, assessment performance, and overall interview results. Candidates with relevant internship experience, strong analytical abilities, or prior exposure to data annotation and AI-related projects may receive higher compensation.
