Roles & Responsibilities

• Support low-risk analytical initiatives by gathering, validating, and analyzing data that contributes to risk assessment and decision-making processes.

• Review process production outputs, model documentation, and analytical reports to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

• Perform data quality checks and data sourcing activities to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of risk-related information.

• Analyze trends within current risk populations and identify patterns that may impact market risk management strategies.

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual risk analytics reports for managers and senior leadership teams.

• Collaborate with risk management professionals to support the monitoring, governance, and documentation of risk analytics processes.

• Utilize SQL and Python to extract, transform, analyze, and manage large datasets used in risk modeling and reporting activities.

• Contribute to market risk capital initiatives by supporting analytical workflows, data validation processes, and reporting requirements.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance frameworks while performing analytical tasks.

• Participate in issue identification, escalation, and remediation activities to improve data quality and operational effectiveness.

• Maintain detailed documentation of analytical processes, methodologies, and findings to support audit and governance requirements.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve risk reporting processes and support continuous operational improvements.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Minimum 6 months of experience in risk analytics, data analytics, business analytics, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, querying, manipulation, and reporting across large datasets.

• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, automation, reporting, and analytical problem-solving.

• Understanding of risk management concepts, market risk frameworks, and financial services industry practices.

• Knowledge of data quality management, data validation techniques, and data governance principles.

• Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights that support business and risk objectives.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders and management.

• Familiarity with reporting processes, dashboard creation, and business intelligence tools will be considered an advantage.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
