Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber BDD for enterprise banking applications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive automated functional, regression, and integration test suites across core banking and payments platforms.
• Create automated API testing workflows utilizing REST Assured, Postman, and Newman to validate microservice contracts and payload schemas.
• Integrate automated test suites directly into enterprise CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins, Git, and Maven for automated regression feedback.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis on staging and production test failures, logging clear, reproducible defect reports in Jira.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to translate complex financial business logic into automated acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and manage synthetic test data strategies and mock services to enable deterministic and secure automated test execution.
• Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, code reviews, and quality gate reviews to uphold software engineering standards.
• Continuously monitor, refactor, and optimize test automation scripts to reduce test execution duration and eliminate flaky test behaviors.

Requirements & Eligibility:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 3+ years of dedicated professional experience in software test automation, quality assurance, and automated framework engineering.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Extensive hands-on experience with test automation tools including Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and Cucumber BDD.
• Proven expertise in RESTful API testing and automation using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Practical knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) with proficiency in writing SQL queries for data verification.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git, Bitbucket) within agile development workflows.
• Basic understanding of banking and financial services domains, payment protocols, or regulatory compliance standards is advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a rigorous approach to system stability, security, and edge-case testing.
