Roles & Responsibilities:
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in test automation, designing and implementing modern Playwright automation suites.
• Transform testing workflows by integrating modern automation tools, scripts, and methodologies into the quality engineering lifecycle.
• Execute end-to-end automated UI and API test scenarios across modern web applications, single-page apps (SPAs), and microservices.
• Integrate automated Playwright test suites into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify defect patterns, and report high-fidelity diagnostic data to development teams for prompt resolution.
• Design, maintain, and optimize reusable test utilities, fixtures, and page object models (POM) in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Formulate comprehensive test strategies covering functional, cross-browser, regression, and component validation.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives to advocate for quality-first engineering.
• Mentor peer engineers on modern automated testing techniques, debugging practices, and test maintenance best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent 15-year full-time education.
• 3+ years of dedicated professional experience in software test automation with an explicit minimum of 3 years utilizing Playwright.
• Strong programming and scripting proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript with a solid understanding of modern asynchronous programming.
• Extensive practical experience building resilient end-to-end automated testing frameworks using Playwright for web applications.
• Deep familiarity with software testing methodologies, quality assurance standards, and the software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into enterprise CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API testing, network mocking, and headless browser execution.
• Working knowledge of database validation using SQL queries to verify backend data state.
• Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills to resolve automation failures and flaky tests.
• Strong collaborative and communication abilities to articulate technical quality insights clearly across multidisciplinary teams.
