Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design, author, and execute automated test scripts for payment systems and banking applications using industry-standard tools.
• Perform comprehensive defect analysis and log clear, reproducible bug documentation in Jira to accelerate engineering resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to integrate automated regression suites into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously evaluate, refactor, and modernize automated testing frameworks to improve test execution velocity and reliability.
• Design automated API test scenarios to validate payment gateways, clearing interfaces, and transaction message structures.
• Identify potential automation candidates across complex business workflows to optimize manual test overhead.
• Troubleshoot and debug test script failures and environmental inconsistencies to maintain deterministic test results.
• Participate in sprint planning, acceptance criteria definition, and defect triage meetings across agile delivery cycles.
• Mentor junior quality engineers on test automation best practices, scripting standards, and framework maintenance.

Requirements & Eligibility:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent 15-year full-time education.
• 3+ years of dedicated professional experience in software test automation and quality assurance engineering.
• Hands-on proficiency in automated testing tools and test script development (Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks).
• Strong foundational knowledge of payments domain fundamentals, payment gateways, and banking transaction workflows.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, test lifecycle phases (STLC), and quality assurance best practices.
• Practical familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments and version control (Git).
• Proven ability to diagnose, isolate, and debug automated script execution failures across complex distributed architectures.
• Solid background in authoring SQL queries for backend data validation and transaction integrity verification.
• Strong analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills with high attention to technical detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural enterprise teams.
