Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize robust automated test suites using Java, Python, or TypeScript alongside modern test frameworks.
• Implement automated regression, smoke, and functional test packs aligned with agile sprint commitments.
• Build automated API testing suites to validate microservices, data payloads, and third-party interface integrations.
• Integrate automated test execution directly into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) to provide immediate build feedback.
• Perform defect logging, root-cause investigations, and resolution tracking within enterprise tools like Jira and Azure Boards.
• Partner closely with developers and product managers to translate acceptance criteria into clear automated test scenarios.
• Manage synthetic test data preparation and environment configurations to guarantee reproducible test outcomes.
• Participate actively in code reviews, retrospective discussions, and quality improvement initiatives across engineering teams.
• Track and report test automation metrics including code coverage, pass rates, and regression defect trends to leadership.

Requirements & Eligibility:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent 15-year full-time education.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software test automation, framework engineering, and quality assurance.
• Hands-on proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
• Strong coding capabilities in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
• Proven experience testing and validating RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration, version control workflows (Git), and containerized test execution.
• Solid understanding of relational database querying with SQL to verify transactional backend data.
• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, STLC phases, and behavior-driven development (BDD) principles.
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail in diagnosing defect origins.
