Job Description:
MNJ SOFTWARE is hiring a Technical Support – Level 1 professional to join its growing global IT services organization. In this role, you will provide inbound technical support via telephone, live chat, and help desk ticketing systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve web hosting-related issues involving cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, Softaculous, WHMCS, and Kayako. Responsibilities include diagnosing HTTP errors, configuring DNS zones, resolving FTP and email client issues, managing MySQL databases, setting up cron jobs, and troubleshooting PHP-based errors. Strong familiarity with open-source platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla is essential, along with the ability to manage Shared, Reseller, and VPS hosting environments.

Beyond technical troubleshooting, you will process sales orders, manage written support tickets, and maintain high customer satisfaction standards. The role requires flexibility to work rotational 9-hour shifts within IST time zones and the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently. Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Provide inbound technical support via telephone, live chat, and help desk ticketing systems.

  2. Troubleshoot and resolve web hosting issues related to cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, and VPS environments.

  3. Diagnose common HTTP error codes, DNS configuration issues, FTP connectivity problems, and email client setup challenges.

  4. Support CMS installations and troubleshoot open-source platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.

  5. Perform MySQL database configuration, PHP error diagnosis, and cron-job setup tasks.

  6. Process customer sales orders and ensure accurate service activation.

  7. Maintain accurate ticket documentation and ensure timely resolution of customer queries.

  8. Manage multiple support cases simultaneously while maintaining high service quality standards.

  9. Follow established procedures and administrative policies to ensure compliance and professionalism.

  10. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues when required.


Requirements & Eligibility:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  2. 2–6 years of experience in web hosting technical support or similar IT support roles.

  3. Strong hands-on experience with cPanel/WHM and understanding of hosting products (Shared, Reseller, VPS).

  4. Familiarity with CloudLinux, Softaculous, WHMCS, and Kayako help desk systems.

  5. Experience troubleshooting DNS, FTP, email configuration, PHP, and MySQL issues.

  6. Good understanding of open-source CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.

  7. Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work.

  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  9. Strong analytical mindset with effective problem-solving abilities.

  10. Ability to work flexible 9-hour shifts within business hours (6 AM – 10 PM IST or 6 PM – 6 AM IST).


Expected Salary:

For a Technical Support – Level 1 professional with 2–6 years of web hosting experience in India (remote), the expected salary typically ranges between β‚Ή3.5 LPA to β‚Ή7.5 LPA depending on technical depth, hosting platform expertise, and customer handling experience. Compensation may vary based on shift flexibility, VPS troubleshooting experience, and familiarity with enterprise hosting tools.
