Job Description

Alignerr is seeking Software Testing Analysts to evaluate and improve AI-generated software solutions in a fully remote, flexible work environment. This unique role blends software testing with AI validation, where professionals are responsible for running generated code, analyzing outputs, and identifying inconsistencies. As artificial intelligence continues to transform software development, this position plays a crucial role in ensuring that AI-generated code meets quality, functionality, and usability standards across multiple programming languages and use cases.

The role focuses on hands-on testing of code produced by AI systems, requiring candidates to execute programs, detect bugs, and evaluate logical correctness. Unlike traditional QA roles, this position emphasizes analytical thinking and the ability to understand how code behaves in different scenarios, including edge cases. The Software Testing Analyst will also assess code readability, structure, and efficiency, contributing valuable feedback that helps improve AI model outputs and software quality.

In addition to testing responsibilities, this role offers exposure to cutting-edge AI research and development workflows. Analysts will document findings in structured formats, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to refining AI-generated solutions. With flexible working hours and freelance benefits, this opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in AI-driven software testing while working on innovative projects that shape the future of technology.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Execute AI-generated code across different environments to validate functionality and correctness of outputs.

  2. Identify bugs, logical errors, and edge cases in software programs and document them clearly.

  3. Evaluate code quality, readability, and structure to suggest improvements for better maintainability.

  4. Test software solutions across multiple programming languages and problem domains.

  5. Document test results in structured formats, ensuring clarity and accuracy for further analysis.

  6. Analyze unexpected behavior in code execution and provide insights into potential fixes.

  7. Collaborate with global teams and AI researchers to improve software testing processes.

  8. Provide feedback to enhance AI-generated code performance and reliability.

  9. Work independently on assigned tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.

  10. Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and AI-driven workflows.

Requirements & Eligibility

  1. Basic knowledge of programming concepts and ability to read and understand simple code.

  2. Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is beneficial.

  3. Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze software behavior.

  4. Ability to run code in development environments or online IDEs.

  5. Attention to detail for identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases.

  6. Good written communication skills for documenting test results and feedback.

  7. Ability to work independently in a remote, freelance setup with minimal supervision.

  8. Curiosity and willingness to learn about AI-generated software and emerging technologies.

  9. No mandatory prior experience in QA or software engineering, making it accessible for beginners.

  10. Time management skills to handle flexible work hours and deliver consistent results.

Expected Salary

This role offers a competitive hourly compensation ranging between $40 to $120 per hour, depending on skill level, experience, and project complexity. Since it is a freelance contract role, earnings can vary based on the number of hours worked per week, typically between 10 to 40 hours, offering strong earning potential along with flexibility.
