In this role, you will design and develop automation solutions using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC/STLC), ensuring quality is embedded at every stage. The position requires strong expertise in API automation using tools like REST Assured or Karate, along with hands-on experience in scripting and programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methodologies and enhance overall product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts for web and API testing across multiple projects.
• Execute automated and manual test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Develop and implement API automation solutions using tools like REST Assured or Karate.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of QA processes, identifying areas for improvement across the SDLC and STLC.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, create test scenarios, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Perform database validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Utilize version control tools such as Git for code management and collaboration.
• Work with test management tools like JIRA and TestRail to track test cases, defects, and project progress.
• Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter to evaluate system performance and scalability.
• Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• 4–6 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation and quality engineering.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java for building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of TestNG framework and build tools like Maven for test execution and management.
• Hands-on experience in API automation using REST Assured or Karate frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with version control systems like Git for collaborative development and code management.
• Strong understanding of SQL and the ability to write complex queries for data validation.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail for tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and understanding of system performance evaluation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
