In this role, you will be responsible for producing recurring reports, validating business data, performing quality assurance checks, and ensuring timely delivery of operational reports by following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). A major part of your responsibilities will involve using Advanced Microsoft Excel to manipulate large datasets, create reporting templates, reconcile data, and perform detailed analysis using functions such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, Conditional Formatting, and advanced formulas. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in report transitions, support root cause analysis for reporting issues, and contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Generate, refresh, validate, and deliver recurring business intelligence reports accurately while ensuring all reporting deadlines and service level expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Perform comprehensive quality assurance checks on reports before delivery to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with established reporting standards.
  • Utilize Advanced Microsoft Excel extensively to analyze large datasets using Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF functions, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Conditional Formatting, and other advanced formulas.
  • Conduct detailed data validation, reconciliation, and cross-country verification activities to identify inconsistencies, investigate discrepancies, and maintain high-quality reporting outputs.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) by identifying reporting issues, documenting findings, and collaborating with internal teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Create, maintain, and update reporting templates, production trackers, operational dashboards, inventories, and process documentation to support efficient reporting operations.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions, report transitions, dry runs, parallel runs, and operational handovers to ensure smooth project execution and reporting continuity.
  • Update operational systems, metrics, timesheets, production records, and documentation accurately while maintaining compliance with internal reporting procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders by providing timely updates on report status, issue resolution, project progress, and operational deliverables.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes by identifying automation opportunities, enhancing Excel-based solutions, and learning new Business Intelligence tools and reporting technologies.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, Engineering, Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Applications, or any related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Strong proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF statements, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, Charts, and handling large datasets.
  • Good understanding of reporting operations, business reporting processes, data validation techniques, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, for effective reporting and documentation activities.
  • Knowledge of Power Query is preferred for data transformation, report automation, and advanced reporting operations.
  • Basic understanding of Power BI, SQL, VBA, or Macros will be considered an added advantage for analytics and reporting automation.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail while working with complex business data and reporting processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate efficiently with global teams, stakeholders, and operational support functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting assignments, prioritize deliverables, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and consistently meet reporting deadlines.
  • Passion for Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting Operations, process improvement, and continuous professional learning in analytics technologies.
