The Analyst I, Cybersecurity (Vulnerability Management) role at FIS offers an exciting opportunity to build a career in financial technology security while working on high-impact global systems. At FIS, cybersecurity plays a critical role in safeguarding financial platforms used worldwide. As a Vulnerability Management Analyst, you will work with tools such as Rapid7, Qualys, and dynamic application scanners to detect and validate security findings. You will manually verify vulnerabilities, coordinate patching efforts, and partner with compliance teams to ensure adherence to PCI DSS and regulatory requirements. Exposure to platforms like Windows, RedHat, CentOS, and networking devices including Cisco and Citrix will strengthen your infrastructure security expertise.
This role requires operational agility and readiness to work in a 24/5 rotational shift environment. Beyond scanning and remediation, you will develop security metrics, engage in rapid response activities for zero-day threats, and help enhance the organizationโs Vulnerability Management Program. Roles & Responsibilities

Identify, assess, and analyze vulnerabilities detected by internal and external scanning tools across systems and applications.

Monitor scanner outputs from tools like Rapid7 and Qualys, performing triage and manual validation of findings.

Coordinate remediation activities with internal infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to ensure timely resolution.

Track vulnerability lifecycle from detection to closure while maintaining proper documentation and reporting.

Perform regular patching, maintenance, and system/application updates to minimize exposure to security risks.

Engage in rapid response analysis for emerging threats, including zero-day vulnerabilities and attack surface assessments.

Develop and present security metrics to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Vulnerability Management Program.

Utilize tools like Burp Suite and Nuclei for web application testing and open-source vulnerability detection.

Support PCI DSS compliance and assist in audit-related activities through proper evidence and reporting.

Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen enterprise security posture and improve proactive defense mechanisms.
Requirements & Eligibility

Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or a related field.

0โ2 years of experience in Vulnerability Management Operations or cybersecurity domains.

Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid7, Qualys, and ASV coordination.

Working knowledge of open-source tools like Nuclei and web application testing tools such as Burp Suite.

Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, RedHat, and CentOS environments.

Familiarity with network infrastructure devices such as Cisco, AIX, BigIP (F5), and Citrix platforms.

Basic scripting skills in Python and Bash to support automation and analysis tasks.

Knowledge of SQL queries and compliance standards such as PCI DSS.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a passion for cybersecurity innovation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Expected Salary
For an Analyst I, Cybersecurity (Vulnerability Management) role at FIS in Pune, the expected salary typically ranges between โน6 LPA and โน10 LPA, depending on technical skills, certifications, and hands-on security experience.
