Job Description

Deutsche Bank is offering apprenticeship opportunities for engineering graduates as part of its 2026–2027 Apprentice Hiring program in India. This is a 12-month technology apprenticeship designed for recent B.E./B.Tech graduates who want to build practical experience in software engineering, IT applications, technology platforms, and enterprise systems. The program provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced technology professionals and gain exposure to real-world technology operations within a large global banking organization. Apprentices will be able to strengthen their technical knowledge, analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and professional communication skills while supporting business-critical technology activities. The role is particularly suitable for candidates who are at the beginning of their careers and are looking for structured on-the-job training rather than a conventional full-time experienced position.

During the apprenticeship, candidates may contribute to application management, technical troubleshooting, software testing, documentation, application enhancements, automation initiatives, system upgrades, and technology implementation projects. Apprentices will gain an understanding of how enterprise applications are maintained, monitored, tested, and improved to support business operations. They may also work with cross-functional teams and participate in activities related to application quality, information security, compliance, and operational efficiency. The position provides a practical environment for graduates to apply foundational knowledge of programming, databases, networking, and cybersecurity while learning how these concepts are used in professional technology environments. Candidates who demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn can use the program to develop a solid foundation for a future career in IT and software technology.

The Deutsche Bank apprenticeship is conducted under India's National Apprenticeship Training Scheme and is intended to provide structured workplace learning over a 12-month period. Depending on business requirements, apprentices may be aligned with development or technology support functions and receive guidance from experienced team members. The program emphasizes continuous learning, coaching, collaboration, and exposure to evolving technologies. Candidates should understand that successful completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment with Deutsche Bank Group. Nevertheless, the experience can provide valuable exposure to enterprise technology practices, professional work environments, application support processes, quality assurance, and technology-driven business operations. The opportunity is well suited to recent engineering graduates who want to gain meaningful industry exposure and develop the technical and professional skills required for entry-level technology careers.

Roles & Responsibilities
