The Engineer I Software Development role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining product features using technologies such as Microsoft Blazor, ASP.NET Core, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and C#. Engineers will build new functionality, improve application performance, resolve software defects, and ensure applications are designed with security, speed, and scalability in mind. The position also requires experience with REST or Web APIs and an ORM such as Entity Framework, along with knowledge of databases including Microsoft SQL or SQLite. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop Full-Stack Applications: Design and develop rich, responsive user interfaces and complete web application functionality using Blazor, ASP.NET Core, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related modern web technologies.
2. Build New Product Features: Implement new features and product improvements based on requirements agreed with product managers while ensuring solutions are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
3. Develop REST APIs: Create, consume, integrate, and maintain RESTful or Web APIs using ASP.NET Core and appropriate architectural approaches such as Entity Framework, ORM technologies, or service-oriented architectures.
4. Improve Application Performance: Analyze application behavior and implement improvements that enhance software speed, responsiveness, scalability, reliability, and overall product quality.
5. Write Automated Tests: Develop automated and unit tests for newly created code to validate functionality, reduce regression risks, and maintain consistent software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
6. Participate in Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in peer code reviews to identify potential defects, improve coding standards, encourage knowledge sharing, and maintain clean and maintainable code.
7. Resolve Software Defects: Investigate reported bugs and technical problems, determine their root causes, and implement appropriate fixes while minimizing their impact on existing product functionality.
8. Support Azure Development: Develop and support solutions on Microsoft Azure, contributing to cloud-based application deployment, scalability, availability, and integration where required.
9. Contribute to Product Design: Participate in software architecture and product design discussions, providing technical input regarding implementation approaches, application structure, technology choices, and scalability.
10. Evaluate New Technologies: Research and recommend suitable libraries, frameworks, development tools, and emerging technologies that can improve application functionality, engineering productivity, or product performance.
11. Follow Security Practices: Ensure application code and solutions follow appropriate information security practices while protecting confidential information and maintaining the security of software systems.
12. Collaborate in Agile Teams: Work closely with product managers, clients, developers, and other stakeholders in Agile projects to communicate requirements, provide progress updates, solve problems, and deliver software within agreed timelines.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Educational Qualification: A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience and demonstrated technical capability may also be considered.
2. Professional Experience: The job description indicates a preference for candidates with approximately 3–5 years of experience in relevant software development and full-stack engineering technologies.
