Codvo is seeking a highly experienced QA Architect / Manager (Principal Engineer, Test Automation) to lead quality engineering initiatives for scalable SaaS-based platforms. This role is designed for senior professionals who can architect and implement end-to-end automation strategies across modern, cloud-native applications. In this role, you will design and develop advanced automation frameworks that span UI, API, microservices, and performance testing. You will integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous quality validation across development cycles. The position requires deep technical expertise in tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and AI-driven automation frameworks, along with strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, and TypeScript. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, DevOps, and UI/UX to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance test automation frameworks for enterprise SaaS applications.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end automation solutions covering UI, API, microservices, and performance testing.
- Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid delivery cycles.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
- Implement advanced automation techniques, including AI-driven testing and auto-healing frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
- Mentor junior engineers and QA teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality excellence.
- Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter and K6 to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Work with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) to support modern architectures.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve testing efficiency and ROI.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- 12+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation architecture roles.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for automated deployments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Experience in performance testing, observability tools, and monitoring systems such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills to guide teams and influence stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
