Barclays is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Java & SQL) in Pune to strengthen its Markets Post Trade technology division. Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.

• Build scalable and maintainable backend services utilizing Apache Camel integration frameworks.

• Develop and optimize database queries and schemas using SQL Server or equivalent databases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement solution strategies.

• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high coding standards and knowledge sharing.

• Integrate applications within CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployment processes.

• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive financial data.

• Implement comprehensive unit testing to ensure reliability and maintainability of code.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to internal technology communities.

• Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

• Strong hands-on experience with JDK 8+ and Spring Boot framework.

• Experience working with Apache Camel for integration solutions.

• Proficiency in SQL Server or other relational databases.

• Understanding of secure coding practices and enterprise software design principles.

• Experience with version control systems such as GitLab (preferred).

• Exposure to CI/CD processes and DevOps practices (preferred).

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, Angular, or React (good to have).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to performance optimization.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and global team environments.

Expected Salary
