Responsibilities
Design and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright with Python, while also handling API and database testing to ensure data integrity. The role involves functional, exploratory, and regression testing, defect tracking, and root cause analysis to improve reliability. You will collaborate with product and development teams to define test coverage and share knowledge with QA peers to strengthen overall quality practices.
The Role:
Design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests using Playwright with Python from scratch.
Automate web and mobile web applications (responsive and localization testing).
Perform API testing and automation using Python (requests, pytest) and Postman.
Perform database testing and ensure data integrity.
Conduct functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
Create test plans, document defects, and track resolution.
Analyze test failures, perform root cause analysis, and improve test reliability.
Collaborate with product and development teams to define test scenarios and coverage.
Share knowledge and collaborate with QA team members.
