📌 Job Overview

This role at Emerson is a technical + pre-sales engineering position where you act as a bridge between customers, sales, and engineering teams. You’ll help design the right industrial solutions (valves, actuators, instruments) and support projects from requirement understanding to quotation.

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Understand customer requirements and propose best-fit engineering solutions
  • Work on bid management & quotation (pricing, product selection, sizing)
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to customers & distributors
  • Collaborate with:
    • Sales & Business Development teams
    • Product & factory teams
    • Project Management (PMO)
  • Participate in technical meetings (pre & post order)
  • Maintain CRM data and ensure timely submission of offers
  • Handle complex technical queries under pressure

🎓 Eligibility

  • B.E / B.Tech in:
    • Mechanical
    • Instrumentation
    • Chemical Engineering

🧠 Preferred Knowledge (Big Advantage)

  • Isolation valves & actuators
  • Fluid Mechanics
  • Metallurgy / Material Science
  • Industrial testing (NDT/DT)

💡 Skills Required

  • Strong technical + analytical thinking
  • Good communication (client-facing role)
  • Ability to multitask & handle deadlines
  • Team collaboration & problem-solving mindset

💰 Salary Expectation (India – Pune)

  • Fresher / Early career: ₹4 – ₹7 LPA
  • With 1–3 years: ₹6 – ₹10 LPA
