Job Description:
Tabnova is seeking technically skilled and customer-focused professionals for the role of Technical Support Officer. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in computer science or information technology who enjoy troubleshooting technical issues and delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will install and configure hardware and software, diagnose technical problems, and guide customers through step-by-step resolutions. You will communicate directly with clients via calls, emails, and remote desktop tools, ensuring clear and timely feedback. The role also involves supporting new application rollouts, documenting procedures, conducting safety checks on equipment, and managing multiple technical cases simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, as documentation and customer interaction are key components of the role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems for clients and internal users.

  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues by identifying root causes through direct customer interaction.

  3. Provide accurate and timely feedback to customers regarding issue resolution and system updates.

  4. Guide users step-by-step through troubleshooting processes using remote desktop tools and help desk platforms.

  5. Follow up with clients to confirm issue resolution and ensure service satisfaction.

  6. Replace or repair faulty components and perform basic hardware maintenance when required.

  7. Support the deployment and roll-out of new applications and system updates.

  8. Create and maintain detailed procedural documentation for recurring technical issues.

  9. Manage multiple support cases simultaneously while maintaining high service quality standards.

  10. Test and evaluate new technologies and conduct electrical safety checks on equipment where necessary.


Requirements & Eligibility:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  2. Prior experience in technical support, desktop support, or a similar IT service role.

  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  4. Hands-on experience with remote desktop applications and help desk ticketing systems.

  5. Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  6. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  8. Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  9. Basic understanding of hardware troubleshooting and system configuration.

  10. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving IT environments.
