Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform database queries, CRUD operations, and write stored procedures based on low-level design specifications.

• Analyze relationships between database tables and retrieve structured data to support business and application needs.

• Prepare test cases, test scripts, and test data, and execute manual or automated tests to ensure solution quality.

• Analyze service tickets, identify root causes, and resolve issues by following defined SOPs and ITSM processes.

• Work with IT Service Management and data analytics tools to support operational efficiency and reporting.

• Monitor systems, servers, or applications and proactively identify incidents in production environments.

• Support cloud, network, database, or workplace platforms depending on alignment to Multicloud or Digital Workplace Services.

• Adhere to customer security, compliance requirements, and organizational policies at all times.

• Collaborate with team members across global locations and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Participate in continuous service improvement activities and support onboarding of new team members when required.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Graduates from the 2024 or 2025 batch of a 3-year undergraduate degree such as BCA, BSc, BA, BBA, BCom, Bvoc, BMS, or related streams.

• Minimum academic score as per alignment: 60% for IT and Integrated Smart Operations roles, or 50% for Multicloud and Digital Workplace roles.

• Consistent academic performance with no standing arrears at the time of joining.

• Basic understanding of databases, IT fundamentals, or cloud and workplace technologies, depending on role alignment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities to handle operational and technical challenges.

• Good written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with global clients and teams.

• Willingness to work in shifts, including a 24/7 environment, based on project requirements.

• Flexibility to relocate and work from any Cognizant office location across India.

• Client-focused mindset with the ability to work with users from diverse cultures and geographies.
