Job Description

MetLife is hiring a Senior Associate – Technology Services to join its Quality Assurance team in Noida. As one of the world’s leading financial services organizations, MetLife focuses on delivering reliable and scalable digital solutions across insurance, asset management, and financial services domains. This role is centered around ensuring the quality and accuracy of enterprise applications by implementing robust testing strategies. The candidate will be responsible for validating business requirements, executing test cases, and ensuring that applications meet both functional and technical standards.

The position involves a combination of manual and automation testing, covering functional, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). The candidate will work extensively with tools such as Azure for defect management and utilize Microsoft Excel for handling large datasets and preparing test data. This role also requires strong analytical skills to interpret requirements from BRDs, user stories, and use cases, ensuring that all testing scenarios—including positive, negative, and edge cases—are thoroughly covered.

In addition to technical responsibilities, the role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement. The Senior Associate will interact with clients, participate in Agile development processes, and provide regular status updates through daily and weekly reports. With exposure to automation tools like Selenium and TOSCA, as well as basic AI concepts, this position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within enterprise QA environments and build expertise in financial technology systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and test data aligned with business requirements and user stories.

2. Execute manual and automated test cases covering functional, system, integration, and UAT testing.

3. Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Azure, ensuring timely resolution.

4. Analyze requirements from BRDs and user stories to design comprehensive test coverage.

5. Prepare and manage test data using tools like Microsoft Excel and Access for large datasets.

6. Perform data validation and ensure accuracy across different file formats such as CSV, text, and DAT files.

7. Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure quality deliverables.

8. Generate test reports and prepare documentation for test sign-offs and audits.

9. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.

10. Provide daily and weekly updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (B.Tech, B.E, BCA, MCA).

2. 1.5 to 3 years of experience in software testing or QA roles.

3. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.

4. Experience in manual testing including functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.

5. Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium or TOSCA.

6. Experience with defect management tools, preferably Azure DevOps.

7. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including macros, VLOOKUP, and data handling.

8. Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.

10. Certifications like ISTQB and knowledge of AI basics are considered an added advantage.

Expected Salary

The average salary for a Senior Associate in QA with 1.5–3 years of experience in India typically ranges between ₹6 LPA to ₹12 LPA, depending on technical expertise, domain knowledge, and proficiency in automation and data handling tools.
