Job Overview

Wipro is looking for a Developer L1 who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications deployed at client locations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions while ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis & Design

• Understand business and technical requirements of software products.

• Analyze system workflows, data usage, and operational processes.

• Convert client requirements into feasible and scalable software designs.

• Collaborate with system analysts, functional teams, and project managers.

• Perform root cause analysis for system issues and identify improvement areas.

• Suggest enhancements to improve system performance, availability, and reliability.

2. Software Development & Coding

• Develop software modules following defined coding standards and best practices.

• Evaluate operational feasibility through analysis, requirement definition, and design review.

• Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and usage cases for software validation.

• Modify existing software to fix defects, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.

• Ensure error-free code with minimal test failures before deployment.

• Maintain clear documentation, replication steps, and technical reports.

• Track daily development activities and coordinate progress updates with the team.

• Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and potential quality risks.

3. Project Execution & Customer Focus

• Capture and document all client requirements and clarifications accurately.

• Ensure regular communication with customers for feedback and delivery alignment.

• Respond to customer queries promptly with professional business communication.

• Participate in continuous learning, training, and certification programs.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to define software-hardware interfaces.

• Create detailed documentation including flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, and code comments.

• Maintain high standards of customer interaction and service quality.
