Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, JavaScript, and TypeScript to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and identify defects, ensuring timely resolution and system reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of issues, improving application stability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define and implement testing strategies.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Allure reporting for continuous integration and delivery.
• Manage source code using version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket, ensuring proper code management and collaboration.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Provide recommendations for improving QA frameworks, tools, and processes based on industry best practices.
• Document test results, defects, and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest automation tools, testing trends, and technologies to improve testing efficiency.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with strong foundational knowledge in software development and testing.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with hands-on expertise in automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript, enabling efficient development of automation scripts.
• Extensive experience in browser automation using Cypress, including framework design and implementation.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cypress, SerenityBDD, or Cucumber for structured test execution.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, including integration of automated tests and reporting mechanisms like Allure.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket for managing code repositories.
• Understanding of REST API automation and web services testing, enabling comprehensive backend validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork in Agile and cross-functional environments.
