Genpact is hiring Management Trainees for its Human Resource Operations (HRO) – Employee Lifecycle Management team in Hyderabad. As a Management Trainee in HRO, candidates will support multiple HR operational functions including onboarding, employee data management, payroll support, visa and immigration coordination, organizational changes, employee grievance handling, and HR helpdesk activities. The position requires working closely with managers, staffing teams, and employees to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and compliance with organizational policies. Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and support employee lifecycle management activities across different business functions.
- Handle onboarding and assimilation processes for new employees while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Provide first-level HR support related to payroll, travel insurance, health and welfare, COBRA, Medicare, HIPAA, taxes, and employee benefits.
- Coordinate employee data management activities including updates related to citizenship, marital status, legal name, educational qualifications, and personal records.
- Manage internal transfers, temporary conversions, organizational changes, and employee movement processes within the company.
- Assist managers in initiating and processing employee lifecycle transactions and HR operational requests.
- Coordinate with staffing and recruitment teams to resolve discrepancies related to new hire onboarding and employee records.
- Process employee termination activities for interns, consultants, contractors, and full-time employees as per organizational policies.
- Handle HR helpdesk queries professionally while maintaining confidentiality and timely resolution of employee concerns.
- Maintain compliance with US HR policies, payroll processes, immigration workflows, and employee service procedures.
- Support employee grievance handling, performance management coordination, and workforce administration processes.
- Ensure accurate documentation, process adherence, and smooth execution of HR operational activities within defined timelines.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or related fields is preferred.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Human Resources, or related disciplines is considered advantageous.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and workforce administration concepts.
- Good communication skills in English with strong verbal and written proficiency.
- Ability to manage confidential employee information with professionalism and accuracy.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for handling HR operational challenges.
- Knowledge of employee onboarding, payroll processing, HR compliance, and organizational change management.
- Familiarity with US HR policies, taxation concepts, visa processes, and employee support functions is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced corporate environments while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills for interacting with employees and management teams.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
- Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP are considered an added advantage for career growth.
Expected Salary
The expected salary for the Management Trainee – HRO role at Genpact generally ranges between ₹3.5 LPA to ₹6 LPA depending on academic background, communication skills, HR knowledge, and prior internship or operational experience. Candidates with MBA qualifications or certifications in Human Resources may receive comparatively better compensation packages.
