Job Description

Amazon is hiring for the role of Associate, ML Data Operations within the GO-AI Operations team, a division that supports automation initiatives across Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Centers. This opportunity is ideal for graduates who are detail-oriented, focused, and interested in working with AI-driven operational systems. The role primarily involves auditing image and video data to improve automation accuracy within Amazon’s fulfillment network. Associates will work closely with AI-assisted operational workflows by reviewing stowing activity videos, identifying product placements, and ensuring data accuracy for inventory management systems. This position plays a critical role in improving operational efficiency and supporting Amazon’s large-scale robotics and machine learning ecosystem.

The ML Data Operations Associate role requires candidates to combine human judgment with technology-enabled auditing tools to validate and classify fulfillment center activities accurately. Employees will review hundreds of short video clips during each shift while maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, and operational precision. Since the role directly contributes to automation quality and defect reduction, strong observation skills, concentration, and consistency are essential. Candidates will gain exposure to real-time operational workflows, AI-supported fulfillment processes, and data validation systems that power Amazon’s supply chain and robotics infrastructure. This role is particularly suitable for freshers looking to begin their careers in AI operations, data auditing, and process-driven technology environments.

Working at Amazon in this role also offers professionals an opportunity to experience high-scale operational systems, performance-based work culture, and collaborative remote or office-based workflows. Associates are expected to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and night schedules, while maintaining productivity and quality benchmarks. The company provides a structured environment focused on operational excellence, continuous feedback, and process optimization. Employees will collaborate with internal operations teams while contributing to AI training processes and inventory accuracy improvements. This role offers valuable industry exposure for candidates interested in machine learning operations, AI-enabled logistics, robotics support systems, and large-scale enterprise operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Review and audit image-based and video-based operational data related to stowing activities in Amazon fulfillment centers while ensuring maximum accuracy and quality standards.
  2. Watch and analyze several hundred short-duration videos during shifts to identify product placement activities and validate inventory-related actions accurately.
  3. Use internal auditing tools and operational platforms to mark product locations, capture observations, and provide accurate audit responses for AI automation systems.
  4. Perform repetitive testing and operational verification tasks without compromising productivity, consistency, or quality standards defined by the organization.
  5. Detect discrepancies, incorrect placements, or operational errors in fulfillment processes and report them through the appropriate internal systems and workflows.
  6. Follow predefined operational procedures, productivity targets, and quality benchmarks while ensuring timely completion of assigned auditing tasks.
  7. Collaborate with remote teams, supervisors, and operational stakeholders to communicate challenges, clarify doubts, and maintain smooth workflow execution.

  9. Participate in rotational shifts, including night shifts and weekend schedules, while maintaining flexibility according to business and operational requirements.
  10. Support the continuous improvement of AI-assisted automation systems by providing high-quality human audit inputs that enhance machine learning model effectiveness.
  11. Maintain detailed focus and attention while working with blurry or low-quality videos to ensure accurate judgment and operational precision.
  12. Contribute to overall defect reduction initiatives and fulfillment center inventory accuracy through efficient auditing and operational discipline.

Requirements & Eligibility

  4. Candidates should possess excellent focus, concentration, and screen attention capabilities to work efficiently with repetitive operational workflows.
  5. Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holiday schedules, based on business requirements and operational demands.
  6. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with operational tools, workflows, and data entry processes will help candidates perform effectively in the role.
  7. Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to coordinate with team members, report issues, and escalate operational concerns professionally.
  8. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability, discipline, and the ability to perform under productivity-driven environments with minimal supervision.
  9. For remote or hybrid work arrangements, employees must maintain a dedicated workspace with proper lighting, internet connectivity, and operational privacy.
  10. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow structured operational procedures are highly valued for long-term growth within Amazon operations.
