Job Description:

NatWest is hiring a Data & Analytics Analyst to join its Digital X division in Gurugram, where innovation, security, and simplicity drive digital transformation. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture, validate, and document business and data requirements. You will be responsible for performing data extraction, processing, and analysis using modern tools and cloud-based platforms. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets to uncover opportunities and propose innovative solutions. You will also contribute to building cloud-ready data solutions, leveraging technologies such as Snowflake and AWS to ensure scalability and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify business trends, issues, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and processing using advanced analytics tools and cloud-based platforms.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather, validate, and document data and business requirements.
  • Develop data models, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making and improve business performance.
  • Conduct options analysis to evaluate different solutions and recommend the most effective approach for business challenges.
  • Ensure traceability of business requirements and analytics outputs, maintaining alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to validate data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and resolve data-related issues.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve business processes and enhance efficiency through data-driven solutions.
  • Work with cloud technologies such as AWS and Snowflake to build scalable and efficient data solutions.
  • Communicate insights effectively through reports, presentations, and storytelling to influence decision-making.

Requirements & Eligibility:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field within a professional environment.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing technologies, particularly Snowflake and/or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data visualization, and reporting techniques to support business insights.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex scenarios and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of financial markets, particularly climate-related domains, is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and building scalable data solutions.

Expected Salary:

The expected salary for a Data & Analytics Analyst at NatWest in India typically ranges between ₹12 LPA to ₹22 LPA, depending on experience, technical expertise, and domain knowledge.
