Job Description

AlgoSec is hiring a Cloud Automation Developer (QA Automation) to join its global engineering team in Gurugram. As a leader in network security and cloud connectivity solutions, AlgoSec empowers organizations to secure applications across public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid environments. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of AlgoSec’s SaaS products by designing and executing automated test strategies. The QA Automation Developer will play a key role in validating complex cloud-based systems across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The position involves building and executing end-to-end automated test cases using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and RestAssured. The candidate will work in Agile environments, collaborating with developers and product teams to test new features and ensure seamless integration across distributed systems. With exposure to CI/CD pipelines, the role emphasizes continuous testing, automation scalability, and maintaining high-quality releases in fast-paced development cycles.

In addition to automation, the role requires a balance of manual testing skills to design effective test cases before automating them. The QA Automation Developer will analyze system behavior, identify defects, and ensure robust testing coverage across cloud-native applications. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and execute end-to-end automated test cases for complex SaaS applications.

2. Build automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and RestAssured for UI and API testing.

3. Perform testing across cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

4. Execute tests within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery quality.

5. Conduct manual testing to design effective test cases before automating workflows.

6. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and validate features.

7. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and improved product quality.

8. Maintain and enhance automation suites to keep pace with evolving application features.

9. Ensure test coverage across distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-based architectures.

10. Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (B.Tech/B.E).

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in QA automation and software testing.

3. Strong programming skills in Java with experience in object-oriented programming.

4. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and RestAssured.

5. Experience working with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

6. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience running automated tests in such environments.

7. Experience in manual testing and ability to design test cases independently.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

9. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams.

10. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, SaaS testing, or network security domains is an added advantage.

The average salary for a QA Automation Developer with 2+ years of experience in India typically ranges between ₹10 LPA to ₹20 LPA, depending on expertise in automation frameworks, cloud platforms, and SaaS product testing.
