Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify analytical opportunities that address complex business challenges and strategic initiatives.

• Design, develop, and implement analytics models using a hypothesis-driven approach to uncover insights and support decision-making.

• Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights with defined scenarios, business impact, and execution recommendations.

• Perform data analysis and develop moderately complex algorithms to support business analytics and machine learning initiatives.

• Work with cross-functional teams to identify relevant data sources, including proxy datasets, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

• Execute data profiling, validation, and quality improvement procedures to enhance enterprise data reliability.

• Support the development of automated analytics and reporting solutions that improve efficiency and data consistency.

• Code, test, debug, and document analytical programs while enhancing existing systems to meet evolving user requirements.

• Develop specifications for customized reports, including special data elements, exclusions, and unique business scenarios.

• Identify and solve complex technical problems by proposing innovative solutions within data science and analytics domains.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data engineering, or healthcare analytics is preferred.

• Strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques and the ability to apply them to real-world business problems.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and model development.

• Experience with data visualization and storytelling using tools that convert insights into business-friendly outputs.

• Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and data quality assurance principles within enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with big data tools, analytics platforms, and structured problem-solving approaches.

• Hands-on experience or exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or QlikSense.

• Strong behavioral skills including critical thinking, creativity, prioritization, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

• Preferred certifications in advanced data analytics or SAS Statistical Business Analyst credentials are an added advantage.

Expected Salary

For a Data Analyst with 0–2 years of experience at Cencora in India, the expected salary typically ranges between ₹6 LPA to ₹10 LPA, depending on skills, location, and project complexity. Professionals with strong analytical capabilities, exposure to healthcare data, and proficiency in advanced analytics tools may receive compensation toward the higher end of this range.
