Job Description:

Accelleron is hiring a Software Engineer – DevOps to join its global technology-driven team focused on accelerating sustainability in marine and energy industries. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and building scalable digital platforms. As part of a cross-functional agile team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure that supports mission-critical applications. In this role, you will take ownership of the CI/CD landscape, working closely with product teams to streamline development workflows and improve deployment efficiency. You will leverage your expertise in Azure DevOps, infrastructure as code, and backend technologies to build reliable systems that scale effectively. The role also involves monitoring system performance, ensuring operational stability, and continuously optimizing processes to enhance product delivery. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of Accelleron’s digital platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring faster and more reliable software delivery.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Bicep templates, enabling consistent and scalable cloud infrastructure provisioning.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using advanced monitoring tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to support development, deployment, and delivery of new features and enhancements.
  • Optimize DevOps processes to improve efficiency, reduce deployment time, and enhance overall system performance.
  • Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of applications by implementing best practices in cloud architecture and system design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain and enhance backend systems using technologies like C# and .NET Core, ensuring seamless integration with DevOps pipelines.
  • Implement security best practices across CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments to safeguard applications and data.
  • Continuously explore and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve DevOps capabilities and innovation.

Requirements & Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, demonstrating the ability to automate and optimize development workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, including services like App Services, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and Service Bus.
  • Experience with backend development using C# and .NET Core, enabling seamless integration with DevOps processes.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code concepts and tools such as Bicep templates for managing cloud resources.
  • Experience with system monitoring and performance optimization to ensure application reliability and scalability.
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git and development tools such as Visual Studio.
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or similar platforms is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of databases including SQL, NoSQL, and time-series databases such as InfluxDB is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles to build efficient and scalable systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration in a global team environment.

Expected Salary:
