Valeo is offering an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates and students to join as an Intern System Contributor in Chennai within its Advanced Development division. As an intern, you will work closely with the System and Testing teams to understand system requirements, prepare technical documentation, and support system-level validation processes. You will gain hands-on experience with industry tools such as CoreALM and DOORS, which are widely used for requirement management and system documentation. The role also involves planning internal reviews, maintaining document versions, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. This exposure will help you build strong foundational knowledge in system engineering and quality assurance practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing, updating, and maintaining system documentation in alignment with Valeo guidelines and project requirements.
- Plan and coordinate internal reviews for system documents, ensuring timely release and compliance with project milestones.
- Learn and use tools such as CoreALM and DOORS for system documentation and requirement management activities.
- Maintain version control and history of system documents to ensure traceability and consistency.
- Generate test cases based on system requirements and specifications to validate system functionality.
- Perform system-level testing and document results in structured test reports.
- Support verification and validation activities to ensure system quality and performance standards are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams and suppliers, to ensure smooth execution of system processes.
- Assist in identifying issues during testing and contribute to resolving them effectively.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies in system engineering and automotive development.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelorβs degree (or pursuing) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of system engineering concepts, including requirements analysis and documentation.
- Interest in automotive systems, embedded systems, or product development is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with requirement management tools such as DOORS or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of testing methodologies, including verification and validation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand system requirements and identify issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a structured and process-driven environment with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and project requirements.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to build a career in system engineering and automotive R&D.
Expected Salary:
The expected stipend for an Intern System Contributor role at Valeo in Chennai typically ranges between βΉ15,000 to βΉ35,000 per month, depending on academic background and technical skills.
