Kaleris is hiring an Associate AIML Software Engineer in Chennai to join its innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team. In this role, you will be involved in building, testing, and deploying machine learning models for production-grade applications. You will work on various AI techniques including classification, regression, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intelligent solutions that solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models for use cases such as classification, regression, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, and labeling processes.
• Implement reproducible experiments and automate model training and evaluation workflows.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for ML services using containerization and cloud-based environments.
• Monitor model performance, latency, and data drift, ensuring reliability and accuracy of deployed models.
• Troubleshoot issues in production systems and assist in incident response and resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-driven solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and documentation to maintain high engineering standards.
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate insights and model performance to stakeholders.
• Continuously learn and adopt new AI/ML tools, techniques, and best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or related roles (including internships or academic projects).
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation metrics, and data preprocessing techniques.
• Familiarity with SQL and basic database concepts for data handling and querying.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and basic software engineering practices.
• Exposure to deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
