Roles & Responsibilities

1. Execute manual test cases for Kindle software builds, Alexa systems, AWS-related applications, and other Amazon technology products with high accuracy and consistency.
2. Perform detailed software testing activities including functional testing, regression testing, repetitive testing, and release validation processes.
3. Identify, document, and report software bugs, defects, inconsistencies, and unexpected behaviors using QA tools and established reporting procedures.
4. Follow predefined testing guidelines, quality assurance standards, and documented workflows to ensure high-quality software delivery across projects.
5. Use software tools and testing platforms daily for data capture, test execution tracking, result documentation, and issue reporting purposes.
6. Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and project teams to clarify testing requirements, communicate findings, and support defect resolution processes.
7. Escalate failures, blockers, or discrepancies through appropriate communication channels while ensuring adherence to testing SLAs and timelines.
8. Maintain detailed records of testing activities, execution status, identified defects, and validation outcomes for project transparency and reporting.
9. Validate new software builds and ensure applications meet functionality, usability, and stability expectations before production deployment.
10. Perform repetitive testing tasks efficiently without compromising accuracy, process compliance, or overall software quality standards.
11. Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing feedback, identifying testing gaps, and contributing ideas to improve QA efficiency.
12. Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and time management skills while working in a fast-paced and quality-driven testing environment.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
2. Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, software defect lifecycle, and manual testing concepts.
3. Familiarity with test case execution, bug reporting, regression testing, software validation workflows, and QA documentation practices.
4. Knowledge of QA tools, testing platforms, defect tracking systems, or software testing environments will be considered an added advantage.
5. Strong analytical thinking and observation skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, usability issues, and software defects effectively.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills to report issues clearly, collaborate with teams, and provide accurate testing status updates.
7. Ability to handle repetitive testing activities while maintaining focus, consistency, productivity, and testing quality standards.
8. Comfortable using software tools for data capture, result logging, test tracking, and reporting within structured testing environments.
