GE Aerospace is offering an exciting opportunity for B.Tech students to join as an AI Research Intern at its prestigious John F. Welch Technology Center in Bangalore. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI/ML algorithms, including NLP-based solutions, to solve real-world aerospace challenges.
- Design and build data pipelines to process and analyze domain-specific datasets for recommendation and search systems.
- Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and optimize algorithms for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with research scientists and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows.
- Work on Large Language Models (LLMs), entity extraction, and relation modeling for intelligent systems.
- Document research findings, technical approaches, and experimental results for publications or internal use.
- Address challenges related to data quality, domain-specific vocabulary, and system scalability.
- Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders and contribute to project decision-making.
- Continuously explore new AI techniques, tools, and methodologies to enhance research outcomes.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
- Specialization or coursework in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or Statistics.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in implementing algorithms and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts, including supervised learning, deep learning, and model evaluation techniques.
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), entity extraction, and few-shot or zero-shot learning techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work on complex research problems.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous and research-driven environments.
- Good communication skills to present ideas, results, and technical concepts clearly.
- Experience in data analytics, optimization, or algorithm development is preferred.
- Additional exposure to computer vision, industrial datasets, or research publications is an advantage.
Expected Salary:
The expected stipend for a B.Tech Intern at GE Aerospace in Bangalore typically ranges between ₹30,000 to ₹80,000 per month, depending on academic performance, technical expertise, and research experience.
