Job Description

EY is offering an exciting opportunity for students and early-career professionals to join its Data & Analytics team as an EYP-IA Intern in Bengaluru. EY’s Data & Analytics practice focuses on delivering advanced technology-driven solutions across areas such as data management, business intelligence, visualization, automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. As an intern, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that develops innovative digital products and analytics solutions for global clients across multiple industries. The role provides hands-on exposure to real-world business challenges and advanced technologies used in enterprise analytics environments.

The Data & Analytics Intern will support product development teams in conceptualizing, designing, and developing data-driven solutions that help organizations solve complex business problems. The role involves working on analytics platforms, dashboards, automation tools, and data visualization projects that deliver actionable insights for clients. Interns will contribute to technology assets used in strategic business functions such as valuations, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and financial analytics. Through collaborative projects and mentorship, the internship provides valuable exposure to global consulting practices and enterprise analytics tools.

In addition to technical contributions, the role emphasizes teamwork, learning agility, and innovation. Interns will collaborate with global teams, engage with stakeholders, and develop practical skills in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence development. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements and help design intuitive data visualizations and dashboards that communicate insights effectively.

2. Assist product development teams in building data-driven solutions for analytics, reporting, and automation projects.

3. Support the development of business intelligence dashboards and reports using modern visualization tools.

4. Perform data analysis and modeling tasks to identify patterns, trends, and insights within complex datasets.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects across different industries and global client engagements.

6. Participate in small to mid-sized projects and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions within assigned timelines.

7. Maintain professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams while supporting collaborative project execution.

8. Learn and apply modern technologies such as AI, machine learning, RPA, and UI/UX frameworks used in analytics solutions.

9. Document project progress, technical processes, and insights to maintain knowledge sharing within the team.

10. Continuously explore new tools and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of analytics services.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Final-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field.

2. Basic understanding of SQL and database management concepts used in data analysis and reporting systems.

3. Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and familiarity with programming languages used in analytics applications.

4. Awareness of business intelligence and dashboard development tools used for creating data visualizations.

5. Basic exposure to data analysis and data modeling techniques using tools such as Alteryx or similar analytics platforms.

6. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when working with complex datasets and business insights.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

8. Curiosity and enthusiasm to learn emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation tools.

9. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks effectively within project deadlines.

10. Strong organizational skills and structured approach to completing assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Expected Salary

The typical stipend for Data Analytics or Consulting Intern roles in India generally ranges between ₹30,000 to ₹70,000 per month, depending on the candidate’s academic background and technical skills.
